Apply for a place
An application starts with five short questions. We reply on WhatsApp the same day and guide you through the rest.
What you will need
- His birth certificate
- His latest school report
- His national primary school exam (Standard 7) result, or the class he is in now
- Passport-size photographs
- A medical form, sent to you after a place is offered
- For boys who are not Tanzanian citizens: passport and student pass documents
You do not need any of these to send the form. Applying from abroad
Please do not send documents through this website
The website never asks for documents. After we first speak, you can hand them in at the school office or send them on the school's WhatsApp number.
The interview
Every boy has an interview in three subjects: Mathematics, English and Science. Interviews take place at Olgun in Zanzibar, in Mikocheni (Dar es Salaam), at Ahediya Madrasa (Mwanza) and in Dodoma.
If your family lives abroad, your son can have his interview when he arrives in Zanzibar.
What happens after you apply
- You see your reference number as soon as you send the form, and we reply on WhatsApp the same day.
- We invite you to visit the school, or arrange a video tour if you live abroad.
- Your son has his interview on a day we agree with you.
- The school tells you its decision in writing within three days.
- You secure the place by paying the joining costs of TZS 900,000 (registration fee, uniform, stationery, and bed and mattress). These are not refundable. We then tell you the kit list and arrival day.
